So warehouse manager’s wife texted me this story last nite, today I got the whole deal:
7 yr old son comes home and asks dad, can he get his nails cut, comb his hair and take a bath? He wanted cologne and to shave, too. Dad nixed the cologne. He said he wanted to be neat and tidy and he said his new girlfriend liked neat and tidy guys. He is also going to clean his room just in case she is going to come over because he needs to be neat and tidy. He also vowed to do better in school because hsi girlfriend likes smart boys.
Now we’d also like to congratulate the Warehouse Mgr as he’s celebrating 20 years of wedded bliss to his wife this weekend. I’m not sure if the downside or the upside is that on their honeymoon weekend to Busch Gardens his wife said, don’t worry we’ll only pack one t-shirt for the weekend since we’re going to get matching t-shirts with our pictures on them.
hmmm… now there’s an idea for the Frog… our matching pictures on t-shirts… I want the one with the arrow that points away from me and says, “I’m with dummy”… muhahaha just kidding
But seriously now, we’re not all newly weds here at the Frog. We have several marriage icons working with us:
- Warehouse manager- married 20 years and 7 days
- Sanford sales- married 20 years and 7 days (do you see a connection?)
- Technician- married 20 years
- Driver- married 17 years
With role models like this I think the rest of us have a shot at it~
Oh and remind me on Monday to tell you about Heiney~
