Today your friends at One Fat Frog are celebrating Pinktober 18th. Don’t know what that is? As you are probably aware, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And if you were not aware, I really hope you enjoyed the time you spend out in the woods for the past 30-something years. And if you are a raised-by-wolves and living off the land kind of guy, I have great news: There’s this show called Duck Dynasty that you’ll love.
Anyway, today is Pinktober 18, meaning people around the city, state, and maybe even country, (maybe the world?) are wearing pink in support of breast cancer research and awareness. This is an issue that is close to the heart of One Fat Frog, as several members of our family have been affected by cancer in one way or another. So we want to do all we can to support the cause of ridding the world of breast cancer once and for all. Actually, make that any cancer, not just breast. We at One Fat Frog don’t discriminate; we think all forms of cancer suck about equally.
Anyway, the entire staff is wearing pink today and anyone who comes into our showroom wearing pink gets a chance to spin the wheel for prizes, with one such prize being a donation to breast cancer research. Here at One Fat Frog, green is our favorite color, but we love our pink, too. I’m just hoping these awesome shirts aren’t making you green with envy.
