You know that moment when you’re a kid and you stop doing something because it’s just not fun anymore? Well, it is important to remember that the restaurant business can be a lot of fun, and there are a lot of perks to having a restaurant. But it is, first and foremost, a business. It means you may be getting into the restaurant business for the wrong reasons, and that will keep you from getting any heartache, headache, and, worse of all, wallet ache. I’ve heard horror stories of people in the restaurant business burying themselves in debt and not taking a paycheck for months just so they can keep a “dream” alive. Don’t be like that.

If you remember that your restaurant is a business and you must keep your eye on the dollar signs just as much as the dream, then you could be successful. But it doesn’t happen overnight, it doesn’t happen magically, and sometimes, it just doesn’t happen. Remember this before you take that step into ownership because it is a big commitment and a huge undertaking. But once you’ve come to terms with that and you’re ready to begin, then we’re here to help you get the equipment you need. And we’re psyched to be doing business with you.
