Get your BBQ and pie on! Next Saturday, October 20, the Mennello Museum of American Art in Loch Haven Park will be hosting the Pumpkins and Pies fundraiser. All proceeds from the event will go towards the museum’s annual Orlando Folk Festival, held every spring.
For $10, you get a BBQ meal, a choice of meat, and two sides. Pies will also be on sale by the slice or the whole shebang. Guests are invited to wander the museum’s galleries while listening to live music. For the kids there will be pumpkin painting and carving along with some craft activities for good measure. A silent auction will also be held with harvest-themed arts up for grabs.
The Pumpkins and Pies fundraiser will be held Saturday, October 20 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Admission is free, but the food costs $10. For more information, head over to: orlandofolkfestival.wordpress.com.
