Good news NBA and wings fans. Former Orlando baller Drew Gooden has opened up his first Wingstop restaurant – located on Altamonte Drive in Altamonte Springs! Gooden, who now plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, and his business partner formed Zerocon Food Systems, LLC and are planning on opening up three additional Orlando-area locations! Swish!
Gooden states that he first started pondering a side-gig as a wing entrepreneur during last year’s player lockout. He says being unable to play made him think about his life post-basketball. As a huge fan of Wingstop, he figured what better way to invest in a new opportunity and bring his Orlando fans a product they can believe in – besides his layup!
The Wingstop menu features cooked-to-order chicken wings in 10 original flavors, as well as dishes like fries and gliders.
