It’s been a crazy week at the Frog… well ongoing crazy weeks. Let me give you a little run down.
Awesome clients came in and brought the boss his favorite cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee. Chances are you come in and see our S. OBT Orlando location and you’re going to see our many Dunkin Donuts signs from when we closed a few stores. The guys put the signs up by the boss’s desk to tease him… he has one that says “line forms here” right by his desk.
Mr. Mohawk’s daughter just came in. What a cutie patootie. Remembering when she was just a little pea in momma’s belly and here she is 16 months old. Life goes fast and it’s sweet- enjoy it!
Hmmm… the rest of the team, I could tell you stories but then we’d have to kill you… lol… well there are probably some great ones out there.
We’ve hired a few more guys in the warehouse. We’d like to warmly welcome them to our team. For one of our team members it’s (almost) their first job. Poor guy we’ve been working him really hard… the team has been great and it turns out with their forklift driving lessons he’s quite skilled on the forklift. But let’s be real this kid is no stranger to a screwdriver. We’ve also hired a tech assistant, two technicians and a warehouse guy. So I suppose we have to do a recount, because more then 50 kids eat from the Frog each week.
What do we mean by this? The Frog prides itself in taking care of its family and the community. Our team members have more than fifty children (and I don’t even think that’s counting my million children in the pot) and probably an equal number of pets. Hopefully you’ve been following our pet contest on here and friend us on facebook so you can vote!
On a sad note, one of our delivery team members fell and broke his wrist. He was playing on the bed with his toddler in the morning before coming to work. The little guy was falling and about to hit his head and daddy jumped under him. It was a painful bump for the little one but daddy took most of the impact in his wrist.
It’s funny we’ve had a lot of folks come in and ask us if we’re all family. Despite the fact that we’re growing in leaps and bounds we’ve still maintained a closeness between the office staff and warehouse… and well we tolerate that finance manager… hahaha… we love him anyway. So, while we’re not biologically related (there are branches in our family trees contrary to popular belief) we’re all related through bad jokes and working in an open office. We do our team work together and chances are we’ll all work together to help you build your restaurant.
Customers… so many deals going on lately that I’ve lost count since we last talked. We’ve had a bunch of finance and lease deals off the hook. A few of our bank friends have been in closing a bar, a bakery and another bar/ grill. We’ve also had some smaller places get financed: a food truck, bakery, sub shop, another bakery, restaurant and caterers. We’ve had folks come down from Fort Walton Beach, Jax, Tallahassee, Ocala, Gainesville and from as far south as Fort Myers. Let the Frog help you open!
Hope you have a great weekend and enjoy your time. We’ll be back same time, same place! Love you lots- Google Girl!
