Next Friday, September 28, 2012, is the Downtown Arts District’s 9th annual fundraiser “La Maschera.” This year there’s a roaring ’20s theme and attendees can enjoy music from the Z Street Band and feast on complimentary food and beverages by Arthur’s, Barnie’s Coffee Kitchen, Catering by DeCapua, John and Shirley’s Catering, and Maxine’s.
Tickets are $50 and all proceeds benefit the Downtown Arts District. 1920s attire is not required, but encouraged. Bust out those wide trousers and cloche hats.
Where’s it all going down, flappers? Cake walk yourself over to the Abbey from 7:00pm to 10:00pm to take part in the festivities. Cake walking is kinda like doing the Charleston, but less awkward.
