Whitney Houston has passed at the young age of 48.  It’s a sad day for us who remember her heyday.  Sadly she leaves behind a child, too.  There are no words to make her daughter, Bobbi Christina, 19, feel better.

Sadness on the eve of the Grammy’s.  Even all of Clive Davis’ money couldn’t take away the evils that drugs introduced in her life.

Whitney is best remembered for her role in the movie “The Bodyguard” and many great songs such as “How Will I know” and the “Greatest love of all”…

It’s a sad day for us.  Mostly because we had no understanding of her impending mortality.  Sure, each of us is born to die.  The thing with Whitney’s death is we didn’t see it coming.  Most of us thought that Whitney had cleaned her act up, we didn’t see her terminal and we didn’t see her actively using drugs.  It was sort of out of left field as we thought that Whitney Houston was cleaning up her act.  In fact the last I’d read about her a few days that she was seen with Ray J (you know him of the Kim Kardashian sex video, right? And he’s also the younger brother of Brandy).

RIP Whitney Houston… America loved you as our Golden Girl, your voice lifted many of us up.  May others learn from your passing and may there be compassion as people speak about you for you still have a living child.
