It’s a fantastic work of speculative fiction in which you can download apps for your immune system, the government pays people to stay obese so they can grow organ tissues on their excess flesh, and a full-size replica of Manhattan is under construction in Puget Sound. It’s a very humorous and light-hearted look at a post-war America…and did I mention that one of the main protagonists is a world champion dishwasher?
