Today, Monday January 16, the Wall That Heals, a traveling half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., will be arriving at downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola Park. The Wall will be located at the Northeast corner at East Robinson Street and North Eola Drive.
The Wall will be escorted by over 100 motorcycles from various local Veterans groups. This impressive convoy will be traveling from I-3 from Longwood, they’re expected at Lake Eola between 9:45 and 10:00am. So by the time you read this, the Wall should have arrived.
The City of Orlando and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund are also bringing a traveling Veterans museum to Lake Eola with the Wall That Heals. Make sure you head down and show your respects to our fallen soldiers. For more information on the Wall That Heals, click here.
