Last month, One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment teamed up with the Central Florida Crisis Intervention Team for their 1st Annual CIT Motorcycle Card Run that benefited the National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org) and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.nami.org). This Holiday season, One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment and the Central Florida Crisis Intervention Team continues their commitment to giving back to the community by taking part in a food and clothing giveaway and Christmas lunch for our friends at the Orlando Pathways Drop-In Center on Saturday, December 10, 2011.
Pathways Drop-In Center is a voluntary, completely self-policed shelter for mentally-ill homeless people. For the Christmas lunch and gift giveaway, the Crisis Intervention Team will be accepting donation of water, soda, instant coffee, and other foodstuffs for the lunch. Clothing and toiletries are also being collected, including jackets, socks, gloves, underwear, clothes (preferably larger sizes), blankets, toilet paper, and other toiletries.
