Oh, hello there. I didn’t hear you come in. Have a seat and hang out with my squirrels for a while.

The runt Swan has finally opened bother of her eyes. She’s still getting the hang of walking and climbing, but she’s catching on quickly. She’s definitely the most verbal – she gets quite loud when she’s hungry. We’re weaning Ajax and Max off of the formula and introducing solid foods into their diet. So far we’re just giving them rodent chews, carrots, and celery. They’re taking to it like champs.

All of the triplets are developing more of a squirrel mien everyday. They move in swift, little twitching movements and want to scale my shirt after feedings. It’s hilarious to watch. They get stuffed then start climbing my shirt or exploring the floor…but they fall asleep in about 30 seconds. Poor little guys still need so much rest.

Last night, our dog Oscar pitched in and cleaned off Max. He could have just been tasting him, but you know, it’s still a cute picture.
