Another reason I love this place is we’re always laughing and smiling. Yesterday had a great church stop in from Sanford, and you all know how much churches make my day. We were so happy to help them with their kitchen and what they needed to get their school open.
Heard an other story about Sanford. It seems the locals now give directions according to location of the Frog… I love this! Thanks to April at the bank for sharing with me. When we started many moons ago in Sanford we’d tell the locals we were the “new place by the railroad tracks”… now the locals give directions by us.
And my other story, well we hired a team member who spoke very little English. As an old ESL teacher (didn’t know I’d worked English as a Second Language did you? I used to teach migrant students from Mexico and South America as well as the Hmong population) I was pretty excited when he hired and even more proud when some of our Spanish speaking staff refused to talk to him in Spanish, but told him to speak English even though it was slower and cumbersome. Well soon enough we are pulling him in the office to translate for us and he is even coming in and telling us jokes. In fact we laugh rather hard at his jokes each day. The other day someone said, remember the day when he was quiet? We thought he didn’t talk… boy we were mistaken.
So, here we are New and Used Restaurant Equipment, repair, refurbish and also ESL instruction.
That my friends is the good stuff about us. We’re more than just stainless steel…
