Talking to a friend this morning, his company was bought out and there are RIFs going on. I’m a little out of the corporate world, we do more talking about restaurant equipment and great restaurant concepts around here then talking about RIFs. So my friend explains it’s a “reduction in force” … and well we all know where it’s going from there.
He tells me that we should integrate more CORPORATE words in our terminology at the Frog. At this point I’m laughing, we are the anti-thesis of RIF. We’re growing. We keep adding employees and we’re bursting at the seams.
So what’s the opposite of RIFs? That’s the term we need here at the Frog. But for now let’s just say we’re growing through hard honest work. Sometimes you don’t have to be all jargony, what’s most important is a good handshake and true heart and that will take you further than having all the corporate jargon in the world.
Love to you all. Have a great day! We’ll be posting single pieces of equipment we have in bulk today, so keep your eyes open!
