Okay, well I could say he’s our detail man, he spit shines, he kicks arse at cleaning and refurbishing the exterior of our restaurant equipment, one way or another there’s just not enough words or pictures to tell you that we have a super duper cleaning department here at the Frog. Now, whenever you buy used restaurant equipment I recommend you still clean it when you get it, but still our stuff is generally so clean you could literally eat off of it!
So add to this that our head of cleaning, the industrious and entertaining Mr. G is pretty darn funny! This is a man who is NOT afraid of hard work and always has a smile for us. He also has the cutest little son who is three years old. And if that doesn’t make life worthwhile, I just don’t know what does.
You see, family is important to us at One Fat Frog Restaurant Equipment. Last year we lost our founder, Mr. Bossman to cancer at age 45. This year we’ve seen two of our employee/ family members ravished by cancer… one a child of 13 and another grandparent to a staff member. Cancer is equal opportunity, that’s for sure. And it’s also a beautiful thing… it reminds us of the important things in life. Ain’t nothing more important than family.
As restaurant owners you and I know the dream, the dream is to feed people, bring them together in love, enjoying each other and the food that nourishes them as a family.
So next time you stop by the Frog ask to meet Mr. G. He’s good people and we’re doubly blessed to have him… particularly because he’s pretty sharp at one liners about Chuck Norris… hehehe
